The design of the robot and home beacon are presented in this section. Of course, the design is not really new but based on the entry for 2013.
The Platform Design is covered in a single page since this is reasonably straightforward. As mentioned, the goal was to use as much off the shelf equipment to allow spending most of my time working on software.
The software design is covered in a number of pages. The Existing Software page covers the existing design and its evolution and issues.
The additional pages, unknown at this time, present the changes to the design based on the issues and lessons learned from 2013. These will include possible changes to the vision processing and the implications this has on the overall structure.
